Loopy Life
A downloadable game for Windows

This is Loopy Life, where you play as a man named Terry. Terry has an average life, and hates feeling awkward or embarrassed. In order to minimize the risk of this happening, he has made the schedule of his life the exact same every day.
Unfortunately, Terry has made some unfortunate choices in scheduling, and many awkward moments can happen easily. That's where YOU come in to prevent that! Just last 5 days and you WIN!
There are 5 events in a day, each being its own minigame. To make it to the ending of day 5, you will need to beat 25 minigames total! But don't worry, if you have lost a life, then at the ending of the day you will recover 1. But don't get too overconfident, or it's game over!

Install instructions
Please download and unzip the zip file. Make sure the exe file is in the same folder as the data.win file. The browser version I tested was very unstable, so this is the only option as of now.

Here are my thoughts, just some polish.
General UI:
The instruction text is smoothed while the rest of the game has a pixel art style. You can turn off the smoothing in the settings for the specific font you're using. It's listed under "Presets" as "Anti-aliasing" so if you turn it off, it makes the font pixelated.
Car Minigame:
Since the rest of the game is controlled by the mouse, this should be mouse controllable too. When the car shoots up, it stops abruptly and then comes back down and this makes
Waitress Minigame:
The messages scroll too fast. Also, say "you too" to whoever you get food from on purpose to take the power from them. One time a waiter at Olive Garden asked me if I wanted "Soup or salad?" and I on purpose said "What's a Super Salad?" and then I could see him rebooting.
Social Media Minigame:
The button(s) are unclear. I'm not looking at it right now but if there is a "Like" and "Dislike" button, make them a heart and a broken heart or a thumbs up and thumbs down. This one always confuses me.
Hallway Minigame:
At first I was confused where to click. I think it would be better to have the signs on the doors. Remember to make it clear if something has been interacted with. The good and bad signs regenerate after being clicked but can in the same spot so it can look like your click didn't go through if you get two of the same in a row.
Most of this constructive criticism addresses things that just need polish from lack of time since you said this was for a game jam. Overall, this is very, very cool. I am impressed. It reminds me of the WarioWare games or Incredible Crisis for the PS1. The art style is great and is more "you" now. Man... Pizza Tower had a heck of an effect on your generation, huh?
Thanks for leaving such detailed feedback! Sorry I couldn’t respond sooner, I got busy with other things…
When I update the game in a while, I’ll be sure to take this into account!
You're welcome. Same here. I'm 4 days late. Also, you gotta change the font and colors on this page to make it readable. I don't expect game dev AND web dev out of you though to be fair. You got time for that still.
Tom, this is really great. I played twice. I'll play more and try to remember to give you more detailed feedback feedback this week.
Haha, thanks! Means a lot, especially for a game jam game.
